Affiliate Marketing Explained
The Easiest Way to do internet marketing is by being an affiliate. Here’s why:
• As an affiliate, when you bring someone to the company’s sales page and they buy a product, you get a commission.
• All you have to do is get people to your website to click the affiliate link from the company. A person signing up say for an affiliate program, gets on the company’s mailing list with your affiliate number so that as they get messages from the affiliate company’s autoresponder and they make a purchase on the 8th message 3 weeks down the road, you still get credit for the sale and you still get your commission.
• All you need to do is get people to visit your website or affiliate link. The company will take care of everything else and send you a commission.
• What is the everything else?
• They already have the products.
• They already have taken care of the hard work and expense of the copywriting and sales writing for you.
• They take care of all of the sales pages and the hardest part, which is closing the deal!
• Generally they have paid for a mailing list service (autoresponder) and have created special opt-in forms to get people to sign up.
• Usually they have set up an autoresponder complete with well written and researched messages, basically little sales letters. and you just direct people to this autoresponder and they will get tracked to your affiliate link.
• You generally get sales tools to use such as text ads, graphic image ads, sequential ads, all telling people about a particular product.
• The affiliate company, handles collecting the payments from the customer so you don’t have to deal with that aspect, they just send you a commission.
• They also deal with all the charge back issues, refunds, and customer service for their products!
